AOTMP, a global leader in providing telecom management best practices and industry standards for organizations hosted their 2017 Mobility Awards at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas earlier this month.

The annual AOTMP Mobility Awards began in 2001 and includes 73 awards from 16 categories, with nominations from companies and consumers in the technology industry. A committee of members of the press and mobility analysts voted for the best mobile and wireless products and services organization based on their respective categorical criteria.

PowWow Mobile received the Director’s Award for “Most Innovative Startup,” recognizing the SmartUX Platform’s technological superiority for solving business problems for customers.

“On behalf of everyone at PowWow Mobile, I would like to sincerely thank the AOTMP judges for awarding PowWow Mobile as the most innovative startup,” said Kia Behnia, President and CEO.

“Our emergence from a categorical startup in 2012 into a market leader is directly related to the trust and confidence our customers and partners have in us. Today, we are helping organizations in government, healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, transportation and other industries around the globe mobilize their workforces and access the tools and data they need to drive larger digital transformation initiatives.”

In addition to receiving the Director’s Award, Behnia was a keynote speaker at this year’s event. In his address, he discussed how the consumer app movement is transforming the business to employee app movement, and how mobilization is the catalyst for broad digital transformations in the enterprise.

PowWow Mobile’s showing at the AOTMP Mobility Awards continues recent momentum for the enterprise mobility company, which recently announced 410 percent revenue growth in 2016 and the acquisition of StarMobile, a rapid mobile application development (RMAD) platform.

The award also comes only two months after PowWow Mobile was awarded “Best Case Study Presentation 2016” at the ET Exchange Summit. Earlier in 2016, Gartner recognized PowWow Mobile as a “Cool Vendor in Mobile App Development.”
