PowWow Mobile recognized as a winner of the prestigious 2013 TiE50 Awards at Silicon Valley’s premier conference for technology startups.

BRISBANE, CALIFORNIA – (May 20, 2013) PowWow – a technology start up that delivers Windows applications to a tablet via the cloud – has been recognized as a winner in the prestigious 2013 TiE50 Awards at Silicon Valley’s premier conference for technology startups.

TiE50 is TiE’s annual awards program and is keenly contested by technology startups. TiE50 judges reviewed over 1,100 companies from 22 countries. The judges included a team of prominent entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, executives and domain experts. Fifty winners were selected from categories including mobile, internet, software, life sciences and energy on May 18 at the 2013 TieCon Conference in Santa Clara, California.
